Hot Honey Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
1 lb. chicken tenderloins Wet mixture:
1 c. Buttermilk
1/3 c. Hot sauce
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Chili powder
1 egg
2 tbsp. pickle juice Dry mixture:
1½ c. flour
¼ c. Corn starch
1 tsp. Baking powder
2 tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. chili powder
3 tbsp. paprika
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. Cajun
2 tsp. cayenne pepper Hot honey:
½ c. hot sauce
¼ c. honey
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine wet mixture ingredients
In another bowl combine dry mixture ingredients
Coat chicken in dry mixture, wet mixture, then dry mixture again (repeat for each tenderloin)
Let coated chicken rest for 5-10 minutes
Heat oil on pan and fry tenders on each side for about 3 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through
While chicken is cooking, make sauce by adding the hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, and onion powder to a skillet
Once chicken is cooked, coat in hot honey sauce and enjoy!
